Homage to CHIBI drawing style and protagonists being anything but cute
Deadpool
Deadpool is a cruel character and a very untypical hero. While fighting against the BAD, he is rather macabre, selfisch and partially kinky. That's why he is called an anti-hero. In 2015 the movie appeared under the same name; a movie which made me laugh a lot. So I caught fire for this personage. This was the inspiration for my version. I painted the picture in more detail, including contrasts like lollipop and unicorn. The goal is to create funny contrasts to protagonists being anything but cute.
Joker and Harley Quinn
Joker is one of the most famous enemies of the hero Batman. He is completely crazy and a psycho. Harley Quinn was Joker's psychiatrist when they got to know each other. She, however, fell in love with him so that she ended up as a villainess like him. In my view both characters are very interesting and I find Heath Leger's performance as the Joker in "The Dark Knight" absolutely grandiose. So I drew the psycho couple in the CHIBI style. The utmost slim clown and the sexy harlequin change into sweet and pummeling persons.
Vincent and Jules
Whoever knows Quentin Tarantino, knows "Pulp Fiction". The 1994 movie contains many different main characters. But most famous of them all are Vincent Vega and Jules Winnfield, played by John Travolta and Samuel L. Jackson. Shortly after this drawn scene they shoot somebody on orders of their boss Marsellus Wallace. I am a big fan of this movie and find it great to give such a cute appearance to both of the gangsters - using the japanese CHIBI style. This style is close to the Anime but makes the persons look tinier, cuter and more pummeling.
